RAP: Summer Edition
A creative and nurturing arts program for our middle schoolers to explore their artistic interests and encourage self-expression. Our aim is to cultivate talent, purpose and hope through the arts. Students can choose from a variety of art forms we offer: visual arts, music, dance and theatre.

RAP: Summer Edition
A safe, welcoming afterschool hub for our elementary students. Our goal is to provide a place where kids can truly be kids. We exist to see students RISE through learning, play and social development.
Program Elements:

Sportz Clubs
Sports clubs provide middle schoolers with a fun and active way to grow in skill and character. All clubs include focused time on drills, skills development, scrimmages and devotions that encourage spiritual growth.
Sports currently offered include: Basketball, Swimming, Parkour, Cheer, Soccer and Track.
Our summer program is designed to keep an open door to community, inspiration, joy and the love of Christ for our students during the break. We offer arts and sports clubs for Middle Schoolers and a week-long Summer Camp for Elementary Students. Weekly we have "Neighborhood Dayz" that bring the fun directly to our local community with games, snacks and outreach that shares the love of Jesus with everyone we meet.
Our Team.
Brandon and Salem Ortiz are the founding directors of RAP. They are highly experienced in Child Development programming with experience including: afterschool programs, summer camps, foster care, trauma training, mindfulness and arts-based therapy. Salem is passionate about the Arts and longs to see all children across our city have access to artistic development. Brandon grew up on the Southside of Winston-Salem and has a passion for movement and recreation. His roots in this community drives his desire to see youth develop their gifts and RISE to the calling God has on their lives.
